Honest SEO, Poole & Dorset
SEO is earning visibility over time. It isn't magic, it isn't a guarantee, and it isn't under anyone's direct control, including ours.
We work the parts that genuinely are under our influence: technical health, content matched to real search intent, and authority earned over months and years, for businesses across Poole, Bournemouth, Christchurch, and the wider Dorset area.
Things to hear before you sign anywhere
The stuff most agencies won't put on their own website.
Nobody can guarantee rankings
Not us, not anyone. Google's ranking system is owned entirely by Google. Any agency promising specific positions or "page one in X months" is inexperienced or lying. Walk away.
Three months isn't how long it takes
For anything competitive, meaningful results compound over six to eighteen months. The first quarter is foundations, audit, technical fixes, content groundwork, with little visible movement.
SEO is influence, not control
We improve every signal genuinely under our control. We can't stop a Google core update, a competitor outspending you, or an AI overview rewriting the results page.
Nobody has a contact at Google
No agency has a special relationship with Google's ranking team. There's no "submit to 500 search engines" that does anything useful. There is no secret sauce.
Cheap SEO costs more than none
A £50/month package buys templated reports, keyword stuffing, and link spam that damages your domain. Cleaning up afterwards costs more than skipping it would have.
Domain Authority isn't a Google metric
DA and similar scores are third-party inventions (Moz, Ahrefs, Semrush). Google has its own internal scoring and doesn't publish it. Useful for rough benchmarking, not what Google ranks you on.
What SEO actually is
Three levers, and only three. Everything real happens in one of them.
Whether Google can read your site
Whether Google can crawl, index, and understand your site, the plumbing of SEO. Without it, the rest is wasted.
- Crawlability and indexation
- Site speed and Core Web Vitals
- Structured data and schema
- Internal linking and architecture
- Mobile usability and HTTPS
Whether your pages answer real searches
Not keyword stuffing or word counts. Whether your pages answer what real people search for, written for humans first.
- Keyword and intent research
- Pages that answer real queries
- Content refreshed as topics move
- Honest writing, no AI slop
- Topic depth, not surface pages
Whether the web vouches for you
Whether reputable sites reference you and real people search your name. Built slowly, and it can't be bought without consequence.
- Earned references from relevant sites
- Citations across UK directories
- Brand mentions and reputation
- No link farms or paid schemes
- Local pack signals where relevant
What no SEO can change.
No amount of work changes Google's core updates, your competitors' activity, the AI overviews answering queries before the click, your domain's age, what Google decides to value this quarter, or how people choose to search. We adapt to all of it. We don't pretend to control it.
What to expect, by month
A real timeline, not a sales one.
Three tiers. Fixed monthly. No hidden fees.
Same honesty, whichever you pick. Cancel any time.

- Sub-contract the work? no
- Who does the work? a named person
So why pay for SEO at all?
Most channels rent attention: ads work for as long as you keep paying, social reach can change with an algorithm you have no say in. SEO is different, the work itself becomes something that belongs to you. A well-built page can quietly send people to your site for years after it was written, with nothing further spent on it.
The honest caveats still apply: ranking isn't traffic, traffic isn't sales, and a lot of any "SEO success story" is just people typing the company name into Google. It's a long-term asset, not a short-term tap. Stop investing and it decays; invest consistently and it compounds. There's no shortcut that survives a Google update.
